He made the remarks following a symposium on private enterprises held earlier this month, at which President Xi Jinping said China will unswervingly encourage, support and guide the development of the nonpublic sector and support private enterprises to develop toward a broader stage.

He encouraged all the enterprises to seize the historical opportunities and further expand practical cooperation in various fields, which would contribute to the bilateral relations.
He called for central SOEs, regardless of size, to further coordinate in developing the Internet Plus mode of growth and mass entrepreneurship platforms to free them from rigid structures and advance institutional innovation.
He explained that one factor behind this is that while other counties have seen their outbound tourism develop slowly over time, as the fashion for international tourism developed in the 1960's 70's and 80's; the Chinese "were total newcomers, so they came with a totally different behavior and consumption pattern."

He is in charge of security around Tian'anmen Square, the world's largest city square and the geographic and symbolic center of Beijing. The security of Tian'anmen Square, the Palace Museum and the National Museum are all the detachment's responsibility.
