Li, a 34-year-old ophthalmologist at Wuhan Central Hospital, was among the few people who tried to warn about the novel coronavirus on social media in late December. He died of the virus on Feb 7.
Li, in his third visit to Germany as premier, said Beijing and Berlin should further promote liberalization and facilitation of trade, and deepen cooperation in areas such as manufacturing, energy, aviation and innovation to better synergize Made in China 2025 plan with the German Industry 4.0 initiative during the annual meeting of heads of the Chinese and German governments on May 31, 2017.
Li said Wang abandoned the strict oversight requirements laid down by the CPC Central Committee, as Liaoning officials paid for promotions. The relationships between government officials and businesspeople were in disarray, and businesses could get projects approved only by bribing officials, he said.
Li will pay official visits to the two countries, attend the seventh leaders' meeting of China and the Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) in Sofia, and chair the fifth round of intergovernmental consultations between China and Germany.
Li noted that the progress will help ensure more consensus to be reached at the upcoming RCEP ministerial conference scheduled for Aug 2 and 3 in Beijing.
Li is also a craftsperson in a rural area of Southwest China's Sichuan province. Rather than using 3D printers and laser cutters, she uses wood and even beanstalk to create beautiful things. She made beds and lounge chairs with bamboo she cut from a grove nearby.

Li said China and Canada are two important partners and have made positive progress from dialogue and cooperation in diverse fields. The regular meeting demonstrates the stable and growing ties between the two nations, he said.
